Horse Sense is a private company owned solely by Morag Cartney. Morag has spent most of her life with animals being a farmer's daughter. On leaving school Morag started a Trekking Centre expanding into a Riding School & Riding Holiday Centre.

In 1994, Morag saw a need for training in the equine industry. She applied to Ayrshire Enterprise who granted her the first license. She later expanded inro Renfrewshire & Glasgow, & most recently into Dumbartonshire, Dumfries & Galloway.

The company has gone from strength to strength, employing a well motivated & highly qualified team of freelance instructors. Morag keeps a keen eye on developing the training, encouraged work-providers to improve their qualifications (though a daunting task as there are over 30 of them!).

One qualification, which is constantly in demand, is First Aid at Work. To facilitate this highly sought qualification C.H.S Training was formed. C.H.S Training is approved/accredited by the Health & Safety Executive
